The Woodland Trust is looking for three People Project Partners - Job Families to form an important part of a new team that will deliver a people transformation project. 

The project is focused on creating clear job families, clear job descriptions, updating policies, benefits and terms and conditions of employment. It will build capability and support people related processes that provide the basis for talent and career development and ensure colleague practices are legally compliant, fair and aligned with our organisational values.

The Role: 

  • This role is key to helping us meet our financial goals through creative ways.
  • You’ll help build capability and support related processes that provide the basis for talent and career development.
  • You’ll deliver a structured plan of activity, partnering with multiple areas of the organisation.
  • You’ll present clear and robust recommendations, guiding leaders and colleagues and all levels.
  • You’ll support with the implementation of a job family framework, including building on the development of existing job families and job family levels.
  • You’ll manage ways of working, challenging and seeking improvements where appropriate.
  • You’ll create regular updates, training sessions, briefing packs and other supporting materials.
  • This role is a 24-month fixed term contract.
  • This role includes a mix of working from home and at our main office in Grantham, Lincolnshire. Visits to Grantham would be required no more than once a month on average.

The Candidate: 

  • You have an enthusiasm for the environment and share our core values-Grow Together, Explore, Focus and Make it Count
  • You’ll have experience delivering similar people focused transformation projects in a complex geographical challenging organisation.
  • You’ll have a strong understanding of talent development.
  • You’ll have strong influencing skills with the ability to influence and persuade stakeholders to create consistent job descriptions.
  • You’ll have good knowledge of skills mapping a developing career pathway in an organisation.
  • You’ll have experience working in a fast-paced HR environment.
