We are the UK's largest woodland conservation charity. Our vision is a UK rich in woods and trees.
Here's how we're making that a reality:
We plant
We plant woods and trees to combat climate change, build a greener future for the UK and create havens for wildlife.
Creating new woodland is at the heart of what we do. We mobilise communities, landowners and volunteers to get trees in the ground, and aim to plant a tree for every person in the UK.
We restore
We save woods and trees from decimation. We stand against needless destruction and lead the fight against tree pests and diseases.
Ancient woods have rich, irreplaceable ecosystems. But they’ve been damaged by non-native planting and invasive species. We work to restore them to their former glory.
We protect
We bring damaged ancient woods back to life. We restore these irreplaceable ecosystems before they are lost forever.
Standing up for trees and woods across the UK is why we're here. We campaign to stop the irreversible destruction of ancient woodland and unnecessary loss of trees from our cities.
We care
We care for over 1,000 woods, keeping them open for you to explore and enjoy. We want to inspire a love for woods and trees for generations to come.
Our people work every day to ensure the 1,000 woods in our care grow and thrive. We open up access to our woods free of charge and welcome thousands of visitors each year.
