This role would be ideal for someone looking for a route to build experience in the conservation sector or for someone with experience looking to flexibly reengage with the sector.

This will be a 9-month fixed term role as a maternity cover for the current post holder.

The candidate will ideally...

  • Be passionate and knowledgeable about Scotland’s species and habitats
  • Be able to understand and communicate the nature-based solutions that we can derive from species specific interventions.
  • Have a knowledge of the policy and political landscape and be keen to produce outputs which will positively influence this for the benefit of nature
