Campaign Coordinator
Everyday Plastic / The Big Plastic Count
About us
Everyday Plastic is a charity that leads research and campaigns in order to unpick the complexity of the plastics crisis and its impacts on the climate and our society. Having co-founded The Big Plastic Count with Greenpeace UK, who co-ran the campaign until 2024, Everyday Plastic has now received funding from The National Lottery Climate Action Fund to expand and advance the campaign.
The Big Plastic Count is the UK’s largest investigation into household plastic waste. Since 2022, nearly 500,000 people have taken part in the project across the UK, and millions have engaged with the campaign through press, social media and our partnerships.
The Big Plastic Count imagines a future where everyone – especially those historically excluded from environmental conversations, including racialised communities, Disabled people and young people – has the platform, tools and confidence to challenge the plastics crisis.
