About the role: 

The Senior Home Energy Advisor role will support the delivery of Groundwork UKs Green Doctor programme which aims to tackle fuel poverty issues and increase energy efficiency for vulnerable residents living in deprived communities. Working alongside our existing team you will promote the Green Doctor programme to individuals, groups and organisations across the county, securing referrals against targets. 

You will book appointments and deliver face-to-face and remote home energy assessments in homes of vulnerable residents. You will Line manage Home Energy Advisor Trainees across the Green Doctor programme. You will be a confident communicator who will engage with the community to deliver informal domestic energy advice and generate referrals to the Green Doctor programme. 

This role requires a dynamic and dedicated person who can think on their feet, someone with a caring nature who has a strong desire for helping people and is passionate about making a difference. You will need to be highly organised and adaptable. 

Appropriate qualifications in energy efficiency are essential, with Energy Awareness Level 3 (or equivalent) as a minimum.
