Trosolwg y Swydd:

Fel Cynghorydd Ffermio Bro, byddwch yn canolbwyntio ar drawsnewid y tirlun ffermio drwy ymgysylltu'n uniongyrchol â ffermwyr a pherchnogion tir. Trwy gydweithio'n agos â'r Swyddog Cadwraeth Fferm, byddwch yn helpu ffermwyr i gael mynediad i gyllid cyfalaf drwy'r Cynllun Ffermio Bro, gan ddarparu cefnogaeth i annog arferion cynaliadwy. Bydd y rôl gydweithredol hon yn eich galluogi i wneud gwahaniaeth gwirioneddol, gan gefnogi ffermwyr i wella eu rheolaeth tir tra'n meithrin partneriaethau allweddol yn y gymuned ffermio a chadwraeth.

Prif Gyfrifoldebau:

  • Cydweithio gyda’r Swyddog Cadwraeth fferm i gyflwyno’r cynllun Ffermio Bro yn unol a’i amcanion canolig.
  • Ymgysylltu’n uniongyrchol â ffermwyr a pherchnogion tir i’w tywys drwy’r broses ymgeisio ac iddynt gael mynediad i adnoddau cyllid hanfodol.
  • Gweithio fel dolen gyswllt allweddol rhwng ffermwyr, cyrff cyllido, Tirluniau Cenedlaethol ac eraill i sicrhau partneriaethau cryf a chydweithrediad effeithiol.
  • Darparu cefnogaeth ymarferol drwy ymweliadau rheolaidd â ffermydd, gan sicrhau cyflawniad llwyddiannus prosiectau cadwraeth a rheolaeth tir.
  • Annog mudiadau grwp a gweithio cydweithredol yn y gymuned ffermio a chadwraeth, gan hyrwyddo rhannu gwybodaeth a gweithredu ar y cyd.
  • Monitro gweithgareddau sydd wedi'u cyllido i sicrhau bod yr amcanion yn cael eu cydymffurfio â chofnodi canlyniadau.

  • Profiad helaeth yn y maes amaethyddiaeth, gyda dealltwriaeth ymarferol o arferion ffermio.
  • Ymrwymiad i gefnogi ffermwyr a chymunedau gwledig i wella eu rheolaeth tir ac i gael mynediad i gyllid.
  • Gwybodaeth am gynlluniau amaeth gadwraethol yn ddelfrydol, ond mae arbenigedd mewn amaethyddiaeth a’r gallu i feithrin partneriaethau yn allweddol.
  • Cymwysterau perthnasol mewn amaethyddiaeth, rheolaeth tir neu feysydd cysylltiedig yn dymunol.
  • Gallu i weithio’n annibynnol a mewn cydweithrediad â ystod o bartneriaid.
  • Ymrwymiad i deithio ar draws Cymru ac i weithio yn ystod nosweithiau neu benwythnosau pan fo’n angen yn codi.

Cyflog a Buddion:

Cyflog o £34,314 - £37,035 y flwyddyn, lleiafswm o 25 diwrnod o wyliau yn codi i 30 diwrnod ynghyd â gwyliau cyhoeddus, cynllun pensiwn hael llywodraeth leol, trefniadau gwych o weithio oriau hyblyg a chyfleoedd datblygu gyrfa.

Ffermio Bro Advisor - Pembrokeshire Coast National Park

Position: 1FTE (Full-Time Equivalent), based in Pembroke Dock/Home-Based- Until March 2028

Role Overview:

As a Ffermio Bro Advisor, you will be at the heart of transforming the farming landscape by engaging directly with farmers and landowners. Working closely with the Conservation Farm Liaison and other partners, you'll help farmers access capital funding through the Ffermio Bro Scheme, providing expert advisory support to drive sustainable practices. This collaborative role will allow you to make a real impact, supporting farmers in enhancing their land management while fostering key partnerships within the farming and conservation communities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the Ffermio Bro programme in collaboration with the Conservation Farm Liaison to ensure effective implementation and alignment with the programme’s goals.
  • Engage directly with farmers and landowners to guide them through the funding application process and help them access vital capital resources.
  • Act as a key liaison between farmers, funding bodies, National Landscapes, and other stakeholders, ensuring strong partnerships and collaborative efforts.
  • Provide hands-on support through regular farm visits, ensuring successful delivery of conservation and land management projects.
  • Facilitate group initiatives and collaborative working within the farming and conservation communities, promoting shared knowledge and collective action.
  • Monitor funded activities to ensure compliance with objectives and track outcomes.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

  • Extensive experience in agriculture, with a strong practical understanding of farming practices.
  • A commitment to supporting farmers and rural communities in improving their land management and accessing funding.
  • Knowledge of agri-environment schemes is beneficial, but agricultural expertise and the ability to foster partnerships are key.
  • A relevant qualification in agriculture, land management, or a related field is desirable.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively across a range of stakeholders.
  • Willingness to travel across Wales and work evenings or weekends when required.

Salary and Benefits:

A salary of £34,314 - £37,035 per annum, minimum 25 days’ holiday rising to 30 days plus public holidays, generous local government pension scheme, great flexible working arrangements and career development opportunities.
