Service Delivery Manager
Soil Association Exchange
About our Organisation
Soil Association Exchange is a new service for all UK farmers to help them farm in a way that improves the climate and protects nature and enhances their profitability. SA Exchange works with farmers to measure the environmental impact and provides advice and financial incentives on how the farm can improve.
Soil Association Exchange is a fast-paced, commercial startup that spun out of the Soil Association charity in 2022. Exchange sells its services to a variety of customers including retailers (e.g. M&S and Sainsburys), processors (e.g. Riverford and Arla) and financial institutions (e.g. Lloyds Banking Group). Through these companies we are now working with 1000 UK farmers.
About the Opportunity
Soil Association Exchange is transforming the future of UK farming. We help farmers measure the sustainability of their farms across soil health, biodiversity, carbon, water, and more — then turn that insight into meaningful action. Our platform combines rigorous science with a practical, farmer-first approach, offering tailored advice and unlocking opportunities for financial reward. As part of a small, ambitious team at the heart of the regenerative agriculture movement, you’ll help shape the next chapter of British farming.
In this role you’ll oversee the end-to-end delivery of our services, ensuring that contracts are completed within agreed timeframes and budgets. You’ll manage key relationships with our 3rd party contractors and you'll line-manage our small Service Delivery Team. You’ll help develop a new part of our internal function within Service Delivery – remote farm data collection.

About Soil Association
The Soil Association is a charity working with everyone to transform the way we eat, farm, and care for our natural world.
We build real solutions from the ground up. For the last 75 years, we've worked with citizens,
farmers, policy makers and businesses, supporting them to explore the vital relationship
between the health of soil, plants, animals and people. Because the only way to solve the
issues we face is to understand that they are all connected - and that food, farming and
forestry are a vital part of the solution.
