Norfolk Wildlife Trust
We are looking for a Beach Warden for our Holme Dunes Reserve to work with our volunteers in monitoring and protecting breeding bird colonies. This role involves conducting regular patrols of the area and interacting with visitors.

weekends and bank holidays

About the Role
This exciting 6-month fixed term role will focus on the protection of breeding shorebirds. This will involve engagement with visitors and local residents to highlight the importance of the site and its wildlife. The post holder will work with volunteers to monitor and protect breeding bird colonies through regular patrols of the site, engaging with visitors and dealing with transgressions in a non-confrontational manner. They will also host guided walks and visits to help inform visitors about the site, its wildlife and the importance of protecting it.
