
Project Officer - Waste and Recycling

An excellent opportunity has arisen to work in the streets and direct services department as a project officer for waste and recycling. Ealing Council has a long-standing commitment to reducing environmental impacts and declared a climate emergency in April 2019. We are developing and implementing our plans to address the climate emergency.
As project officer (waste and recycling) you will be responsible for the management and delivery of new and existing projects on for example circular economy, waste reduction, community reuse, food waste reduction and recycling, and waste and recycling service provision.
Candidates should have:
- Excellent communication skills
- An understanding of the principles and practices of recycling and waste management
- Experience in a waste environment delivering improvement projects.
