About the Role
Severn Rivers Ecology, the consultancy arm of Severn Rivers Trust, is expanding. We are looking for a dynamic and versatile Ecologist to join our Development Team and help drive the growth of our diverse commercial services.
From conducting botanical surveys and habitat feasibility assessments to delivering ambitious, hands-on projects—such as our flagship Severn Woodlands initiative—this role offers the opportunity to make a lasting ecological impact across the region.
This is a varied, seasonal, and highly rewarding role, perfect for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment.
What You'll Do
- Deliver a range of ecological services including surveys, assessments, and habitat creation projects
- Lead and support practical land management activities
- Manage project timelines, resources, and reporting requirements
- Build and maintain strong client relationships
- Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to deliver high-quality consultancy outcomes
- Support the continued development and reputation of Severn Rivers Ecology as a leading consultancy
About You
We're looking for someone who brings:
- A strong background in ecology and practical land management
- Demonstrated experience in project management and client engagement
- Confidence to work independently as well as part of a team
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- A proactive mindset with a passion for delivering meaningful environmental change
