Project Manager - Prestley Country Park

This is an exciting opportunity for a Project Manager to join the Parks Consultancy Team, this new role will co-ordinate the creation of the new Prestley Country Park at Alconbury Weald, working with the new community's Master Developer Urban & Civic.
The role will encompass a variety of tasks including but not limited to the following:
- Work with the communities team at Urban & Civic, Nene Park Trust and local stakeholders
to engage residents and neighbours in the evolution of the Country Park, including:
- Developing and implementing a Community Engagement Plan covering the evolution of the park from transition to establishment.
- Planning community engagement events (such as tree planting in Autumn/Winter 25).
- Developing identity and communications for the park, working with the Visitor Engagement and Communications teams at Nene Park and Urban & Civic Communications and Engagement.
- Work with Urban & Civic, Stukeley’s Parish Council, Huntingdonshire District Council and other key stakeholders to evolve the initial park community engagement arrangements, into potential future governance structures aligned with the long term financing of the park.
- Establishing a short term park financial plan from ‘Transition to Establishment’ including initial maintenance costs and income streams (SFI,CSS etc), and potential grant funding and commercial income sources, and working with the agreed budget for the Park.
In addition, the ideal candidate will naturally demonstrate the following characteristics:
- Experience of land management and current government funded land management schemes.
- Experience of park management and landscape construction.
- Experience of working in a park or similar leisure / tourism destination.
- Good project management experience working with a range of stakeholders inside and outside of the organisation.
