We are looking for someone with a love of wildlife and a passion for helping others to enjoy it. The role will help us bring nature to people in Glasgow and surrounding urban areas, ensuring that everyone has the change to benefit - close to where they live and by visiting nearby RSPB nature reserves. We recognise that access to nature is not equal. This role will build on our existing work, as well as provide an exciting opportunity to develop new ideas and ways to bring people and nature closer together. This will involve working directly with communities in Glasgow and working with colleagues at RSPB Lochwinnoch nature reserve and other sites to understand and overcome the barriers experienced by some people when accessing our reserves.
This role will be responsible for managing volunteers, engaging, and forming relationships with new targeted groups, designing and delivering workshops and events tailored to these new audiences and their needs, representing RSPB and our values. The role will be supported by the GNAHG Project Manager, the GNAH team in Glasgow and Edinburgh, and by colleagues at RSPB Lochwinnoch and other nature reserves.
