As the demand for sustainable resource use grows, we’re expanding our team and are looking for a passionate Graduate Consultant to support our work at the interface of minerals and resource planning, circular economy, regulation, and environmental compliance.
About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity for a recent graduate to join a specialist consultancy at the forefront of planning, environmental permitting and sustainable development. You’ll work on projects covering mineral extraction, waste strategy, recycling infrastructure, and circular economy innovation.
As part of a collaborative and supportive team, you’ll gain practical experience in planning, environmental permitting, report writing, and stakeholder engagement—all while developing a strong foundation for a long-term career.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in preparing planning applications, environmental impact assessments, and technical reports.
- Conduct research into mineral resources, waste movement, and resource recovery options.
- Analyse policy relevant to minerals and the circular economy to support planning applications.
- Support stakeholder consultations and client engagement activities.
What We’re Looking For
- A recent graduate (or due to graduate in 2025) in Environmental Science, Geology, Geography, Planning, or a related field.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Analytical mindset with a keen eye for detail.
- A genuine interest in sustainable resource use, circular economy principles, and environmental planning.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; GIS experience is a plus.
- Enthusiastic, adaptable, and ready to learn.
