Sales and Marketing Manager (Part-Time) – Wendling Beck

Location: Remote, Hybrid, or Norfolk-based (Mid-Norfolk HQ)
Hours: 2-3 days per week (flexible)
Contract Type: Contract or Employment
Salary: £33-45k FTE indicative, dependent on experience (or per hour equivalent) – but with hybrid or commission-based contracts welcomed as an alternative

About Us:

Wendling Beck is an ambitious nature recovery project in Mid-Norfolk, delivering high-impact environmental solutions including Biodiversity Net Gain (BNG) and Nutrient Neutrality credits. We’re looking for a dynamic Sales and Marketing Manager to help drive awareness, generate leads, and secure sales in these growing environmental markets.

The Role:

You’ll be responsible for developing and executing sales and marketing strategies to promote our BNG and nutrient credit offerings. This includes:

  • Building relationships with developers, landowners, and environmental consultants – guiding them on their requirements and process where required
  • Creating compelling marketing content (digital, print, and events) in collaboration with our environmental and land management teams.
  • Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities; and managing a CRM system for lead generation.
  • Managing customer enquiries and guiding them through the sales process.
  • Monitoring market trends and competitor activity.
  • Lead the co-design and implementation of a coordinated sales and marketing strategy

We’re open to candidates with transferable experience who may need some training on BNG, nutrient and carbon markets—passion for environmental solutions is key!

You’ll report directly to the Founding Directors – Glenn Anderson and Alex Begg

Experience & Competencies:

✔ Passion for nature and understanding of Wendling Beck’s mission
✔ Capable of working independently and representing the project as a trusted ambassador
✔ Sales, business development, or marketing experience (B2B preferred).
✔ Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
✔ Ability to explain technical concepts clearly (environmental knowledge a plus).
✔ Self-motivated, organised, and comfortable working remotely.
✔ Familiarity with Office365 (Excel, Word, Powerpoint)
✔ Familiarity with digital marketing (social media, email campaigns, SEO).
