Project Manager
Froglife
The Project Manager will manage the Green Talent project which will transform wildlife habitats in green spaces across the most disadvantaged areas of Peterborough, with a focus on amphibians and reptiles. Green Talent is supported by The National Lottery Heritage Fund. An important part of the project is to run a series of 3-month Placements and longer-term Traineeships and actively recruit people from disadvantaged backgrounds and ethnic minorities to these roles.
The Trainees and Placements will learn about habitat management and monitoring, and gain the skills and experience needed to secure employment in wildlife conservation, plus transferrable skills for other employment options. This 3 year project will support them to build confidence and self-esteem to enable them to flourish for the future.
As Project Manager, you will be both enhancing Peterborough’s natural heritage and transforming career opportunities for disadvantaged people.
