The Duchy of Cornwall has a clear vision for the future: Sustainable Stewardship – for communities, enterprise and nature.

We are looking for people to join our team who share our core values. People who can be Visionary, who will help us lead with Integrity and Responsibility and in a way that encourages Inclusivity.

We have some exciting challenges ahead. Our journey to net zero and nature enhancement will shape our estate for many years to come.

A vacancy has arisen for an enthusiastic graduate rural estate surveyor to join our team. Based in Herefordshire, you will be part of a team responsible for managing the Estate’s rural interests. You will provide support to the Land Steward and assist with the provision of front-line estate management activities, alongside a supporting role in the Estate’s strategic objectives and integrated environmental land management plans. In addition, you will have the opportunity to take ownership of some projects.

Working towards your APC and with a relevant degree, alongside membership of a professional body such as RICS or CAAV, you will be a team player with the confidence to work independently where necessary and will possess good organisational and problem-solving skills. Ideally you will also have knowledge of building anatomy and an understanding of woodland management and environmental schemes.

To be part of our exciting future, please visit our website.

Closing date: 2nd June 2024.

We conduct first interviews via Microsoft Teams and hold second interviews in person.
