Findhorn, Nairn and Lossie Rivers Trust

The Trust works closely with the District Salmon Fishery Boards of the Rivers Findhorn, Nairn and Lossie. The Boards have the statutory responsibility for migrating salmonids. The Trust looks after all native species, and is concerned with river catchment management on a holistic scale.

The aims of the Trust are to conduct research on river management and on native freshwater fish such as salmon and sea trout, to conserve and restore these species, to improve the habitats of native freshwater fish and to provide education and enhance understanding of the river environment and river catchment management.
