Cynnal Cymru-Sustain Wales

Cynnal Cymru-Sustain Wales is a membership organisation that promotes sustainable development and raises awareness of good practice within Wales. It is an independent, not-for-profit company, limited by guarantee.

We are a networking organisation that enables people to learn from each other and discover interesting good practice projects in Wales. We work with people and organisations across a broad range of issues – from climate change to economy and fair-trade to health. We increase awareness of sustainability issues and good practice examples, and raise awareness of practical resources encouraging sustainable living in Wales. We aim to:

  • Promote sustainable development
  • Be a catalyst for change towards sustainable development in all sectors of Welsh society
  • Act as a forum within Wales for the development, canvassing, exchange and dissemination of views, information and policies on sustainable development
  • Be a bridge between the Welsh Government and civil society
