Colmer Ecology ltd. is an independent ecological consultancy providing comprehensive and innovative ecological advice and solutions to a variety of clients. Although based in the South West and South East of England, we operate throughout the United Kingdom and abroad.

Being independent, we provide cost effective advice and knowledge in all areas of ecological survey, mitigation, habitat management and enhancement, ecological restoration and environmental impact assessment.

Colmer Ecology carries out habitat and protected species surveys on bats, badgers, birds, dormice, great crested newts, otters, reptiles, white-clawed crayfish, and water voles on behalf of our clients. We are also able to rely on a network of sub consultants and associates who deal in more specialist areas of ecological assessment such as terrestrial and aquatic invertebrates, and the marine environment.

Our ecologists are members of the Institute of Ecology and Environmental Management (IEEM) and licensed to survey for protected species.
