The Alliance of Bioversity International and CIAT

Established in 2019, the Alliance of Bioversity International and the International Center for Tropical Agriculture (CIAT) was created to address these four crises, (climate change, biodiversity loss, environmental degradation, and malnutrition) maximizing impact for change at key points in the food system.

At the Alliance, we strive to make food and agriculture systems more sustainable, efficient and inclusive, through sustainably funded science, research-based solutions and inclusive knowledge generation.
