Severn Gorge Countryside Trust

Severn Gorge Countryside Trust is a registered charity that was set up in 1991. We are the main land manager of the Ironbridge Gorge World Heritage Site. In total we look after 700 acres (or 250 football pitches to you and me) of land for local people, visitors, and wildlife to enjoy.

The Severn Gorge Countryside Trust works to balance the conservation and enhancement of landscape, wildlife and public access, and also to reinforce the cultural importance of the special areas under its management.
