the River Restoration Centre (RRC)

Working for the River Restoration Centre (RRC)

RRC is an independent and impartial, not-for-profit organisation. Originally founded in 1994 as the River Restoration Project (RRP) by members drawn from the UK public, private and NGO sectors, RRC has been actively raising the profile of river restoration since 1997.

RRC is the national expert advice centre for best practice river restoration, habitat enhancement and catchment management. It provides a focal point for the exchange and dissemination of information and expertise. The Centre also provides advice on site-specific technical issues through a core team of experienced staff and a wider network of experienced river restoration practitioners.
