Life Cycle UK
Life Cycle aims to create a healthy, sustainable, safe and inclusive society by promoting cycling. We want to encourage and enable people of all ages, backgrounds and abilities to cycle. Our activities include:
- Cycle skills training – to enable children and adults to cycle safely and confidently. We also train people to be cycle instructors.
- Bike maintenance workshops and Dr Bike – to teach people how to keep their bikes roadworthy and safe.
- Free cycle parking – safe, secure bike parking for communities.
- Two’s Company – tandem rides for visually impaired and disabled adults and children.
- Bike Minded – cycling support for people with mental health problems.
- Silver Cyclists – to help older people rediscover cycling.
- Youth Project – bike maintenance training and BMX and mountain biking for young teens in disadvantaged areas.
- Bike recycling at Bristol Prison – to help offenders learn new skills.
