GreenSeas Trust is a marine conservation charity. We stop plastics getting into the sea by tackling the problem at source. Our dynamic charity is made up entirely of dedicated volunteers who are passionate about the marine environment. 

We are looking for a motivated and experienced social media specialist with good communication skills. You will be part of a small team and help manage our Facebook and Instagram accounts. 

Responsibilities of the role include:

• Plan and write engaging posts on the Meta platforms to widen the reach of GreenSeas Trust.
• Monitor social media accounts on a daily basis.
• Search for relevant articles that share our views on ocean plastics.
• Engage with our followers and increase the numbers.
• Work closely with team members to incorporate new ideas.
• Be able to design graphics and images using Canva.
• Knowledge of SEO and using social media to improve search engine rankings would be an advantage, but not essential.

Time commitment per week estimated: 3 - 5 hours.
