RAIN is non-profit CIC supporting community-led reforestation projects in Brazil. We work with Indigenous nations, rural co-operatives and urban associations to regenerate, rewild and reforest their land, to tackle climate change, create healthy ecosystems and build resilient communities. Our vision is to create a world where nature and people can thrive together.

We’re looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic volunteer bookkeeper and finance support admin who is keen to offer support to a small environmental charity. It is a hands-on and collaborative role, reporting to the Finance Manager, ensuring transparency and efficiency in all financial transactions. The role will be to perform accounting and bookkeeping tasks, including supporting bank transactions.

With your financial knowledge and experience you will support and help to:

• Assist production of financial accounts and transactions
• Support payroll and invoicing
• Facilitate bank transactions
• Track project financial situations 
• Ensure reconciliation of records and transactions. 
• Advise and set up financial transfer services e.g. equals Pay for oversea payment 
• Quick books experience is an advantage we are beginning to label and track project spending, department spending etc.

We’d love to hear from people who are able to offer around 5 hours a week for a minimum of two months. This is a remote role with flexibility to work around you.
