We are looking for a fundraiser to help us secure funds for our campaign.

Flight Free UK is a behaviour change organisation that asks people to take a flight free year to reduce emissions and change the norm when it comes to travel. We were set up in 2019 and have just applied for charitable status.

Please note this is a volunteer role – we are unable to employ someone at this time. This is a good role for someone who is looking to move into the charity fundraising sector and would like to get some experience (and who knows, if you are successful in helping us raise the funds we might be in the position to employ you!)

The role includes:

• Helping to organise a fundraising event in September
• Increasing the number of monthly donations we receive from our supporters
• Finding and applying for grants on behalf of the organisation

The successful candidate will be:

• well-organised and astute
• personable
• motivated and capable of self-directed work

This is a remote-working role for 10 hours per week. You must have access to a laptop and the internet. Full supervision is provided by the campaign director.
