We are looking for volunteers to join our team in Cornwall to help the Cornish Chough Network celebrate this milestone year. These roles are all about helping to arrange and run events throughout this summer as part of a team that supports chough conservation.
As an Events Volunteer you will be helping out in a range of ways. Depending on which events you're working on, this could include:
Your people skills will be the most important element in this role. We are looking for someone who enjoys meeting new people and is a confident communicator. It will help if you have good attention to detail and are well organised to help ensure events and activities run smoothly.
This is a rewarding role which offers the opportunity to attend a wide range of events and to work alongside a friendly team. You will have the opportunity to make new friends and spend time outdoors. You will get to meet loads of new people in this role, enjoying conversation and helping people have a great interaction with the RSPB and our partners. There is always the opportunity to learn new things and gain skills through volunteering!
Location: Penzance office/home, Lizard and West Penwith for the event.
