Flamborough Cliffs nature reserve is one of two coastal reserves owned and managed by Yorkshire Wildlife Trust. This reserve is an important location in promoting the fantastic marine life to be found off the Yorkshire coast and Yorkshire Wildlife Trust’s marine conservation work.

In the spring and summer months, Flamborough Cliffs really comes to life – the clifftop grasslands are covered in wildflowers and breeding birds such as skylarks, whilst the cliffs themselves are literally crammed with thousands of breeding seabirds.

The reserve is home to one of the most important seabird colonies in Europe and offers fantastic wildlife viewing, however with no wildlife watching shelter or platform, some visitors require a helping hand to identify the birds and know where to look.

We are looking for a small team of volunteers to help members of the public view Flamborough’s seabirds by pointing out key features, sharing facts about the seabirds, and helping them take a closer look through binoculars and telescopes.
