Overview of the People’s Plan

The People’s Plan is an environmental community interest company (CIC) working to give people a voice on how green policies are designed and implemented. Our current primary project is an innovative, interactive, educational, and gamified platform which facilitates engagement between residents and their councils, with a focus on engaging underrepresented groups. The product has recently been trialled by a London council and has had fantastic results. We have a large waiting list of clients up and down the UK and are now deciding how to tweak and grow the product to have even more impact.

The role

We are looking for a Fundraiser to join our team and support on grant applications so that we can expand our product further. As part of the team you will be involved in identifying grants, writing applications and identifying other commercial opportunities.

The ideal candidate:

  • Is interested in climate and sustainability issues
  • Ideally has experience drafting and sending out funding applications
  • Is able to reach out to potential corporate sponsors and come up with new ideas for funding sources.

As a team member, you’ll have the chance to develop your skills with a tailored development plan whilst being able to work on a tangible project and make a positive impact on a national level.

If you would like to be involved please send an email to [email protected]

Part of the Climate Venture Collective

The People’s Plan is supported by the Climate Venture Collective. The CVC is a diverse group of entrepreneurs, thinkers, makers and doers who come together to create scalable solutions to the Climate Crisis. The group is open to everyone to join and we all share in the work and the rewards.

As part of People’s Plan, you will have access to the community, its members, projects and resources, as well as being part of it.

Our ambition is to work together to promote a more inclusive environment, which attracts all candidates, and which celebrates and promotes diversity. We therefore particularly welcome applications from diverse backgrounds
