Trustees required for a fast growing environmental charity.

Future Woodlands Scotland is a small Scottish charity set up to fund innovative thinking for native woodlands. Established in 2012, we give small grants up to £10,000 for research. The organisation has recently secured significant funding to develop and grow its’ activities to incentivise landowners to create new native woodland.

We currently have five trustees who come from a range of backgrounds but who are all passionate about making a positive difference for our natural environment. We are now seeking additional trustees to help steer the organisation through this next exciting stage and help us grow in the future. We are particularly keen to speak to individuals with a background in finance and/or business and who are Scotland based.

Our trustees are volunteers and are unpaid. Out of pocket expenses can be claimed.
