Are you aged between 18 and 25 and passionate about connecting people with nature?

We are looking to be ground breaking and lead the way with a Youth Trustee aged between 18 and 25 to represent and empower the next generation of charity leaders on our Council.

About us

The Nottinghamshire Wildlife Trust is the county's leading conservation charity run by local people for the benefit of local wildlife, with nature reserves across the county - part of a UK network of 46 local Wildlife Trusts working to protect wildlife.

Be our Board of Trustees Youth Champion

Did you know that the average age of a charity Trustee is 57? And that only 0.05% of the trustee population in England and Wales is aged 18-24?

At Nottinghamshire Wildlife Trust, we’d like to start changing this, to empower the next generation of charity leaders.

  • Are you aged 18-25?
  • Are you passionate about connecting people with nature?
  • Do you want to be an ambassador for young people, and bring the perspective of a young person to our board of Trustees?

The role would involve attending a few weekday evening meetings a year and is a great insight how a charity is run.

It provides an opportunity for you to make a real impact to improve and advance the wild places of Nottinghamshire, by helping to shape NWT’s work that will directly inspire, empower and enable people to connect with and take action for nature.

Interested? Then consider applying now!

You could be the change that we need to make this happen.
