This is a fantastic 9 month training opportunity based at Berry Head National Nature Reserve, located on a stunning headland along the South Devon coast. The placement gives the opportunity to work on a wide variety of sites and habitats which surround the iconic lighthouse and Napoleonic Fort. These include SSSI calcareous grassland sites, woodlands and the stunning South West Coast Path. The main focus will be on delivering the practical countryside management programme; some of the key work areas include habitat management in winter and monitoring species, coast path cutting and footpath maintenance in the summer. Free basic accommodation is provided on site and there is a budget for relevant training. For more details please visit our website at www.countryside-trust.org.uk/vacancies.

Closing date is Friday 21st August 2020.
