Based at our northern office at Gosling Sike, Houghton, Carlisle, this volunteer placement will give you the unique opportunity to develop conservation skills and knowledge across many of the Trust’s areas of work.

The work will be highly varied and across a range of disciplines so the successful candidate will be well placed for a future career in nature conservation. Full training will be given to carry out a range of reserve tasks including ecological surveys, monitoring, practical site management and facilities maintenance.
