Role type: Voluntary – travel and lunch expenses paid
Hours: 1 day per week – flexible hours, optional weekend days
Duration: 3 months minimum
Responsible to: Training Officer
Location: The Lock Office, Bow Locks, Navigation Road (off Gillender Street), LONDON E3 3JY [please note this is subject to change]

What the role includes:

  • Assisting the preparation of training materials, assessing trainee assignments and providing feedback
  • Assisting training delivery including delivering activities with groups
  • Taking part in site visits for training activities and events
  • Composing and distributing monthly EST (Event Support Team) newsletter, scheduling EST members for events and communicating with EST’s
  • Promoting the training programme including contributing to training page of website, use of social media, developing other ways to reach new trainees and support/retain existing ones.
