Cambridge Carbon Footprint (CCF) is looking for an intern to support us in organising Cambridge’s second Sustainable Fashion Festival.

The first Festival was a great success and we’re looking to make the second even better. We are looking for an intern available 2-3 days a week, starting early Jan to end March 2020. You’d be an integral part of a small, friendly and dynamic team based in an office near Cambridge North station.

The aim of the Sustainable Fashion Festival is to provide practical opportunities for people to ‘Buy Less, Choose Well and Make it Last’ and draw out the links between over-consumption, resource depletion and climate change. The intern would be involved in all aspects of organising a big event, including sourcing inspiring speakers and content, identifying stallholders for the pop-up market, press and publicity and much more.

CCF is a small local climate change charity that enables people to reduce carbon emissions and empowers them to take the lead on carbon reduction in their social circles, communities and places of work. Using a broad base of research on climate science and communication, we centre our approach on what climate action means to people in their everyday lives – in terms of their beliefs, values and capabilities to make real change.

For further details please see the role description and call Nicole with any queries on 01223 301842.
