Role description:

Members of the M&E Working Group can contribute in any way that fits their skills and knowledge as well as training in a particular skill that they’d like to develop. We primarily work with internal data analysis, creating and analysing surveys that are then used for internal decision making and funding applications. 

Tasks include:

  • Monitoring all on-going projects
  • Evaluation and assessment of project activities
  • Periodic reporting on every project 
  • Identifying gaps and areas of improvement

  • Survey creation and implementation

Training provided: Induction training, ongoing training, peer/group support sessions, 1:1 support session

What the volunteers get: 

The volunteers get an experience of working in a coop, participating in decision making process and becomes a member of SHRUB Coop (which includes being able to use the Swap shop and to vote at the decision making). The position provides opportunities for learning and engaging with like-minded individuals, it is also flexible and the volunteer can transition across the working group if he/she so desires. It is an inspirational environment and the volunteers are also welcome to suggest their own projects that they would like to work on, if they are interested in developing their project management skills. The M&E position provides the opportunity to develop skills in survey preparation and internal monitoring.
