The Mayor of London’s National Park City Festival runs from 19-28 July 2019 and will mark London becoming a National Park City. The free festival will celebrate London's green spaces, wildlife, green rooftops and waterways, and aims to help a wide range of Londoners discover new environmental, cultural, sporting and community activities. Team London are searching for volunteers to be National Park City Festival Makers and National Park City Festival Team Leaders. 

As a National Park City Maker, you will be the enthusiastic, welcoming face of the festival who will:

  • Help audiences find out what’s on, where, and to help make sure they have an incredible experience
  • Conduct surveys to find out more about their experience on the day
  • Hand out festival programmes and promotional materials

We are also looking for National Park City Team Leaders. In addition to the above responsibilities, you will also:

  • Be the first point of contact at your location
  • Deliver briefings at the start of your shift, completing handovers with previous/next Team Leader
  • Coordinate volunteers and allocating tasks
  • Resolve any problems or issues, escalating as required

The Commitment:

  • Attend a 2-hour briefing on 11th July (2.5 hours for Team Leaders)
