Then we could be offering just what you need. We currently have a vacancy for a Full Time Volunteer Ranger to join our Tintagel to Holywell ranger team on the spectacular North Cornwall coast. We look after 2,868 acres, including 34 miles of coastline.

Working four days a week within the ranger team alongside staff and other volunteers, gaining the knowledge, skills and experience to help you get that perfect job. Live in shared accommodation which is walking distance from the rangers’ base and the South West Coast Path. The work is predominantly hands-on practical estate management work, access work and habitat conservation work. You will also assist with events and surveys. As your experience increases, so too will your opportunities and responsibilities. You will use a wide variety of tools, machinery and equipment. As well as in-house training, external courses will be also be provided subject to funding and availability such as Lantra and NPTC certificated courses. We’re looking for someone who can work with us for 6-12 months. Some weekend and evening work is required in this role which we’d arrange with you in advance. A full driving licence is essential.
