A long term volunteer ranger is a full time 12 month opportunity to be involved in the conservation and management of the West Cornwall estate including areas of SSSI, World heritage sites, AONB’s and over a hundred Scheduled monuments within a landscape of an intensity of archaeology that is rivalled by few places in Western Europe. The West Cornwall portfolio is made up of five distinct ranger areas, the North coast from St Ives to Pendeen, the St Just coast, Pendeen to Sennen, the South coast, Sennen to Tregiffian, the Mounts Bay coast from Penzance to Trewavas and the Godolphin estate.

This role will be based at National Trust Godolphin and Mounts Bay, the volunteer will work closely with the property ranger in their management of the habitats and estate infrastructure, learning new practical skills as well as good people skills. The position includes in house training as well as a training budget and accommodation on site.
