An enthusiastic person with good communication skills, dedicated to nature conservation and working with people is required to assist in the delivery of the Trusts varied range of habitat and access management across its 37 nature reserves. 

Working with our accomplished volunteer teams you will gain valuable experience in volunteer leadership, reserves management and project development. You will also gain skills and experience relevant to communicating the importance of nature conservation to the public and in generating the resources required to deliver nature conservation activities. Furthermore you will gain experience of ecological survey techniques, particularly for protected species, by supporting the work of the Trust’s ecological consultancy. In addition an attractive training package is available which includes;- Chainsaw, Pesticides, First Aid, Off Road (4x4), ATV, Brushcutter qualifications. A contribution towards mileage is available. This position requires a commitment for a minimum of 12 months, working 4 days p/w (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and one weekend day per month).
