What will you be doing?

You will be working as part of a dynamic team of staff and volunteers to deliver both the schools programme and coastal visitor engagement. Part of the Norfolk Coast outdoor property, Brancaster Activity Centre offers active and engaging outdoor activities to resident schools as well as self-catering accommodation. The role is varied, including helping lead outdoor activities, representing us at events, resource development and helping with the day to day running of the centre. This residential placement is a great opportunity to gain experience in outdoor learning, environmental education and visitor engagement with a well-respected organisation.

Who are we looking for?

This will suit someone with a passion for the outdoors and plenty of enthusiasm and motivation, good communication skills and experience of working with children, a flexible approach and friendly personality, as well as excellent customer service and the ability to work well as part of a team. We are looking for a commitment of 6-12 months. This post is subject to DBS check.

Benefits

The placement offers free accommodation with utilities and internet access included. The cottage is located at the nearby village of Burnham Overy. Meals are also included when schools are in residence. Relevant training (eg First Aid) will be given.
