Surrey Docks Farm delivers training projects that enable adult students with learning disabilities opportunities to develop transferable skills, within the areas of growing, harvesting and retailing produce.

We are currently recruiting for volunteers to work with our students. We are looking for people who are interested to support adults with learning disabilities to develop their skills. Gardening experience is very useful, but FAR more important is a person who is enthusiastic, patient and supportive to our trainees and understands the aim of the project.

In return you will enjoy a fun and fulfilling role and the Farm will support you with training (such as basic sign language skills etc) where it can.

We are currently recruiting for volunteers on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Volunteers would need to commit to attending regularly one day per week from 10am-3pm.

If you’re interested please contact Gemma ( for more information.
