This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the field of conservation with the UK’s leading practical conservation charity at a beautiful urban oasis in London. After training, you will gain work experience in organising & leading practical tasks and managing volunteer teams, plus extensive knowledge of urban ecology & effective habitat management. You can also get involved with other work on site, including surveys, events, education, social media & interpretation.

You will receive training in Leadership Skills and First Aid, plus online training in H&S, safeguarding, equality & diversity and more. We also provide mentoring from experienced wardens and reimbursement of travel expenses within London.

Trained Volunteer Officers can gain paid work within TCV as cover wardens & session workers. For this role, you will need a basic knowledge of or a background in ecology & conservation and good communication skills. Email your CV to gpep@tcv.org.uk and we will then arrange an informal interview.
