Trainee Volunteer Ranger Opportunity! 

ACCOMMODATION AND SUBSISTENCE ALLOWANCE: £100 per week

Nevis Landscape Partnership has 2 full time Trainee Volunteer Rangers opportunities running from 12th November 2018 until 31st March 2019, with a 2 week break over Christmas and the New Year. 

These positions will provide motivated individuals practical, hands-on experience of conservation work and habitat management. Working alongside our Footpath and Conservation Officers, volunteers will gain experience in a wide variety of projects such as footpath maintenance, woodland regeneration, habitat management, species monitoring and wildlife box siting. Relevant training such as outdoor emergency First Aid and mountain awareness will be provided. There will also be opportunities to attend workshops and community engagement events run by Friends of Nevis and to network with conservation professionals from our partners and other locally based conservation organisations.
