We’re offering an opportunity for you to be part of the Community Fundraising Team at SAS, which raises funds from a variety of sources, including events, schools, universities and local groups. The role will be office-based, where will you be supporting the CaEFO with ongoing relationships and admin. Your role can be flexible depending on your skills and experience with elements including data inputting onto our donor database, researching prospects, inputting events onto third party websites or contacting existing fundraisers to wish them luck with their events.

The role will suit someone looking for the experience to learn about fundraising in a growing charity and the charity sector.

Training and support

You’ll be based at SAS HQ in St Agnes, where you will receive the ongoing support and training to carry out your role.

Responsibilities

  • Audit the SAS collection boxes and arrange any collections on an ongoing basis.
  • Attend local events when/if required
  • Send out materials to fundraisers as and when required
  • Research events that we could attend/have places
  • Social media – plan and write social media posts
