Use and develop your people, teamwork and leadership skills…and help us fight against climate change and environmental injustice.

Become an organiser for Brighton and Hove Friends of the Earth.

Who are we?

Brighton and Hove Friends of the Earth inspires solutions to environmental problems – we stand for justice for people and the planet. Our group has a long history of successfully campaigning on local and national environmental issues, from climate change to local transport issues.

We’re looking for a small team of people to help develop our local campaigns. This is a great opportunity for you to get stuck in with your ideas and skills and build something great!

Whoever you are and whatever your skills and interests, we’ve got a role for you.

The role could involve:

  • Organising events (we’re planning a film screening in October)
  • Running local campaigns (we’ve started one on plastic pollution)
  • Attending local events to promote our work
  • Maintaining the mailing list, website and social media presence
  • Working with the local media
  • Photography and filming at events
  • Designing publicity materials

These are challenging, interesting and fun voluntary roles which could take as little as a few hours each week.

Why get involved?

It’s an excellent opportunity to gain or use experience and skills, meet like-minded people, learn about the environment, and contribute to hugely effective campaigns.
