We are now recruiting to our Board of Trustees and welcome enquiries and applications. There are generalist and specialist trustee roles available on our team (see below). Together we support our amazing staff team and lead the Forest Farm Peace Garden strategy. We meet every 6-8 weeks and ask for a commitment of at least one year. Our trustees must be great ambassadors for our charity, modelling our core values and ethos. These roles are voluntary.

Please contact us for an informal conversation about Forest Farm Peace Garden and trustee roles. In particular we are looking to recruit new trustees with skills and experience to offer in any of the following functions:

  • Treasurer / Finance and Accounting (understanding of management and statutory accounts, interpreting data, cash flow, reporting financial position, effective financial procedures and controls, financial reporting to grant making bodies)
  • Human Resources (personnel management, policies and procedures)
  • Legal and Governance (experience of charitable or voluntary sector law and governance)
  • Marketing (co-develop and implement strategies for marketing and communications that consistently reach wider audiences, digital marketing, content creation, GDPR compliance support)

  • Mental Health (clinical, management, lived experience, assessment and evaluation)
