Volunteer Assistant Countryside Ranger – Box Hill, near Dorking, Surrey
10-12 months commitment (30 hrs per week). Accommodation provided.

Great opportunity to join an energetic and innovative Ranger team at Box Hill and develop skills required to assist in the management of this busy, high profile property with important habitats. This is a challenging and diverse position but with the chance to gain a wide experience in visitor engagement, nature conservation management, property conservation and countryside estate skills.

This role will suit someone who enjoys working with people and looking to develop their countryside estate skills and progress their career in countryside management.

Experience of working outdoors in all weather as well as ability to work under own initiative and as part of a team are essential requirements. Knowledge and enthusiasm for conservation and countryside and an interest in people as well as the commitment to providing a high quality visitor experience are desirable skills. Full UK driving licence and eligibility to work in the UK essential
