The RSPB is the UKs largest nature conservation charity. If you love nature and would like to work with children then this could be the perfect role for you.

You will be working with primary school children in their school playgrounds. Giving children the chance to explore and learn about the nature around them. Helping them find mini-beasts. Encouraging them to use their senses to discover the sights, sounds, smells and textures of the plants and animals nearby. Supporting them to discover nature’s treasures and find the words to talk about them.

Your Schools Outreach Officer will train and support you throughout your time in this role. You will get all the resources you need and any expenses will be paid.

This is a great opportunity for anyone who is considering a career in environmental education or would like to work with children. The role is also suitable for volunteers who would like to apply or work together in pairs.
