This is a great opportunity for anyone who is looking to improve their administrative skills or to work within an environmental charity. It will allow you to see how such an organisation works and to assist with the day-to-day running of St Nicks.

The role

The main purpose of the volunteer receptionist role is to support the St Nicks staff team in general admin duties and to help visitors should they need information about St Nicks or how to get around the nature reserve. Duties will include answering telephone queries, meeting and greeting visitors, helping to create leaflets and displays around the centre and setting up meeting areas for meetings and events.

Person Description

  • Good communication skills
  • Some experience working in a customer facing role would be beneficial
  • Reliable and able to use initiative

Length of commitment: Flexible
Total Hours: Flexible
